BREAKING🚨 Every Black Republican in the House just announced they are LEAVING. And GUESS who Republicans are replacing them all with? Kevin McCarthy already said the quiet part out loud. Back when he was trying to rebuild the House GOP, McCarthy pushed Republicans to recruit more Black candidates because even he could see what his own party looked like: a segregated version of the “country club” he later described himself. “When you look at the Democrats, they actually look like America,” McCarthy said after leaving Congress. “When I look at my party, we look like the most restrictive country club in America.” Republicans claimed they were fixing that. By 2022, McCarthy’s recruitment push helped elect four Black Republicans to the House. Now they are ALL leaving. Wesley Hunt is leaving. He tried to run for Senate in Texas and already LOST. Burgess Owens is leaving. Utah’s new map boxed him out of his own seat. John James is leaving to run for governor in Michigan, opening up another seat held by a Black Republican. And Byron Donalds is leaving to run for governor in Florida, where another Republican has already attacked him by calling him a “slave” to donors. According to The New York Times, few Black Republicans are running for Congress this year, and none are currently seen as likely to win. So Republicans are losing every Black member they have in the House — and may be replacing them with ZERO Black Republicans. These were the members Republicans used whenever Trump’s movement was accused of racism. When the GOP turned DEI into a slur, Republicans could point to them. When Republicans attacked Black history lessons, voting rights, and anything they called “woke,” Republicans could point to them. When Trump and JD Vance spread racist lies about Haitian immigrants eating their neighbors’ pets, Republicans could still point to them. When a House Republican posted a racist attack on Haitians and GOP leadership blocked the effort to censure him, Republicans could still point to them. When another Republican used the phrase “colored people” on the House floor, Republicans could still point to them. That was the game. Keep a tiny handful of Black Republicans visible enough to deny the racism, while the party keeps feeding white grievance, anti-DEI hysteria, and attacks on racial justice. But now the shield is gone. McCarthy said the GOP looked like the most restrictive country club in America. Now the Black Republicans his party used to disprove that image are all walking out the door. John Roberts has spent two decades attempting to position himself as the Supreme Court's institutional conscience — the careful steward protecting the Court's legitimacy. Now, a bombshell investigation reveals he may have been protecting something else entirely: his household's $20 million in income from the very law firms arguing cases before him — and an independent journalist named Christopher Armitage is filing a disbarment proceeding against the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court because of it. The facts are not in dispute. Roberts's wife Jane earned $10,323,842.70 in documented commissions over seven years at a legal recruiting firm — placing senior lawyers at firms that then argued hundreds of cases before her husband's court. For sixteen consecutive years, Roberts mislabeled this commission income as "salary" on his mandatory federal disclosure forms. He omitted his wife's equity stake in her employer for three consecutive years, later attributing it to "inadvertence." He never recused himself from a single one of the 500-plus cases argued by firms paying his household. Richard Painter — chief White House ethics lawyer under George W. Bush, the man who prepared Roberts for his confirmation hearings — said Roberts "fudged the details, misleadingly describing his wife's earnings as salary." A legal ethics professor retained by a whistleblower concluded the false characterization is "incorrect as a matter of law." Federal statute is unambiguous. Title 5 makes willful false disclosure a civil violation — $50,000 per count. Title 18 makes knowing false statements to the federal government a felony — five years per count. Title 28 mandates recusal when a spouse has a financial interest in firms before the court. Roberts appears to have violated all three, repeatedly, across two decades. In response, Roberts designed the Court's first ethics code himself — and engineered it to have no enforcement mechanism, no complaint process, and no sanctions authority. The Brennan Center called it "designed to fail." He declined a Senate Judiciary Committee invitation to testify, citing separation of powers. Now, Armitage has filed the disbarment complaint and is inviting every American to do the same. The DC Bar accepts public complaints. saw a 500 lb man on the bus made me thankful i have lost 35 lbs knowing i will not just be so huge it’s a matter of life and death at that level my job is very involved physically with summer i can do housekeeping only two days a week partly for sanity partly the heat lol had a vegan sandwich today that’s about all i can do i eat healthy but back to meat after a year just feel like i am in a concentration camp with no meat and my soy chunks look like dog chows lol like dogs kibbles just horrible haha if yves had not shut down i could have lasted longer but i dont want to always eat tofu dogs all day seems depressing lol don’t want to eat the mystery meats anymore made out of who knows what tofu
