The Fourth Amendment protects people from unreasonable searches and seizures…. ICE agents don’t get to kidnap someone, from a coffee shop parking lot, without reasonable suspicion or probable cause. The Fifth Amendment guarantees due process…. Holding someone against their will while refusing to tell them why, or denying them access to contact anyone, is a constitutional violation

We’re not Canadians, we’re not Indians, we’re not Native, we’re not First Nations, we weren’t Aboriginals & we’re not even Indigenous, for we were born long before all those colonial blanketed terms. We are Ahousat, we are Kelsmaht & Yuuthluithaht. We are not Canadian & we were not born in Canada, it’s actually quite the contrary, Canada was born IN US and through genocide. This so called country that was born very intentionally through the deaths of so many nations, through the loss of various unique languages, through all those rich rituals ripped away & through the loss of lands that were our villages and are now your homes. So their country was born through murd€r, through rap€ & through those concentration ped0phil€ camps, which you call Residential Schools & we call HELL. Hell that Jesus was apparently sent to save us from through religion & those ‘schools’. Yet the only ones who were saved were those priests, nuns, rcmp + governments who were magically forgiven for their sins. Which I’m assuming that’s how one can mysteriously jump to Truth & Reconciliation without accountability (through sins that were forgiven?). Look no further than the confessions through files with zero accountability & onto the next distraction. But we weren’t the only ones that were brain washed in their school systems, they - maamaalee also were too, considering that they were probably taught that some white man discovered this land & these “Indians’. You can’t discover what already existed & newsflash, if you think you have nothing to do with us ‘Indians’ or our language, the word Canada derives from #kanata which is an Indigenous word meaning village & every town you live in was once a native village territory (& still is). Some towns are even named after our village, such as Ucluelet, because they could not pronounce Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ, or Tk̓emlúps - kamloops. Before Canada decided to be known as a village, until 1982 July 1st, it was known as Dominion Day. What does dominion mean? To dominate, to control. Canada doesn’t want sovereign beings, they want control and not just of Indians, right now they are on the fast track to remove access to Natural Health Products. (Bill C-47, that’s a whole other post). So protect your natural medicines & pick your battles, for their system has always been smoke & mirrors intended to blind you, but when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change & wouldn’t you agree that this country needs continued change? When Indians are drunk or drugged, it was much easier to steal from them, because a sober healing Indian is a changed indian & threat to the system and sober Indians spiritually connected WILL protect the land and the water over profit & poison & there is no shortage of scary Indians healing from a country that loves to see us wounded. This was an old write up on the gram, my Instagram and my Facebook business page are very different - I feel like I filter for fragility on my Facebook business page and on Instagram I am more unapologetic and not even fragility for only maamaalee but for our own people too, because some of our people think that I hate white people, I don't hate white people I hate white systems of suppression, big difference & I most definitely can NOT relate to human beings who fear equality accountability, closeness, humility and humanity. Again pretty big difference. Our people have remained silent for so long, but not only silent, but polite & by being 'the bigger person' who would never say such harsh things. I'm a truth teller and there's no silencing me or painting the truth or the past pretty, which is probably why my closest friends are elders because they're truth tellers too who leaned into uncomfortable conversations & confronted and resisted such sick systems. As a person fascinated with psychology , it is easy to reflect on the dynamics between Indigenous and government, it is very much a narcissistic - empath relationship & obviously indigenous people are the empaths. We continue to feel sorry for them even when they are not sorry. We continue to believe in its healing, but you can't save anything or anyone that is NOT participating in its own rescue 🛟 . The system does not want to be saved, it needs to continue to suppress to survive. Narcissist's specialize in manipulation, their words and actions never align, they constantly move the goal post, they get their fuel from gaslighting & fear the truth, accountability and being seen of course indigenous people saw them before they saw themselves. Needless to say I do not celebrate a country that was born through the death of our people & that continues to suppress. I celebrate all the villages that survived & am thankful for all of the allies who have done their own personal healing & are also actively fighting to protect the home we all live in. Here's a video for those truly learning truths & are leaning into uncomfortable spaces and conversations intentionally & not only to grow with us as Indigenous, but to grow into a human who also protects the planet & brown beings globally. https://youtu.be/dfJAp7NwgVA?si=fnm-s7D-l80Rm2IE You cannot protect what you are not connected to & Indigenous people are connected to themselves, to other's (we dont even know) & to the plants, animals, waters & planet. Makes one curious how connected is any government to Nature? When Nature is seen as simply something to take & make money from while both threatening brown beings connected to Nature and yet too scared to say such. l
