See I thought the charter of rights and freedoms was suspended when this act takes effect but not the case -I can appreciate that people on the left worry about the precedent set by the state invoking extra powers against the convoy because these will be used against the left. But guess what? The state already authorizes the RCMP to use lethal force against indigenous land defenders - RCMP sergeant Liz Douglas-Poirier and her husband Richard donated $200 to the occupiers. Directing banks to "review their relationship" with *anyone* involved in the Convoy, and provide information to CSIS (!?!) and the RCMP is HUGE. This has massive implications for the lives of the people in this thing, and I don't know if they've realized this
