BREAKING🚨 United Airlines used a fake gate announcement to lure a woman straight into an ICE arrest.

Patience Gore, a 44-year-old Zimbabwean woman who has lived in the United States for about 24 years, was flying home to Maryland with her husband after a friend’s wedding in Arizona.

According to reporting by Morgan Fischer of Phoenix New Times, they had checked their bags, cleared security and were waiting for their delayed United flight when the airport speakers suddenly started calling her name:

“Passenger Patience Gore, please come to the gate.”

When she walked up to the United counter, three men approached her.

“Ma’am, you’re going to need to come with us.”

They were ICE agents.

According to court filings, the men showed no visible identification. Her husband says agents showed him a warrant with no judge’s signature.

Gore had no criminal record. She was complying with her ICE check-ins. And an immigration judge had already ruled that she could NOT be deported to Zimbabwe because her life or freedom could be in danger there.

ICE arrested her anyway.

She spent nearly two weeks in immigration detention, where she says she slept on a mattress on the floor, had no change of clothes and had to use an exposed toilet.

Gore was also undergoing IVF treatment to try to have another child when she was arrested.

Once ICE detained her, she couldn’t continue the medications, monitoring and procedures required for the treatment. Four days later, her attorney asked ICE to release her on humanitarian grounds.

ICE never responded.

According to the lawsuit, Gore was forced to abandon that IVF cycle. After her release, she tried again.

That cycle produced no viable embryo.

Less than two weeks after ICE arrested her at the airport, a federal judge ordered her released.

BREAKING: “HE DOESN’T LOOK ... COMPETENT.” Conservative icon Peggy Noonan declares that Trump’s legendary political luck is FINALLY running out!

Peggy Noonan has been writing about Republican presidents since Ronald Reagan was in the White House. Now the legendary conservative speechwriter and Wall Street Journal columnist believes something fundamental has changed for Donald Trump.

The magic is wearing off.

Noonan, who drafted George H.W. Bush “kinder, gentler nation” and “thousand points of light” speeches, writes that Trump's position in the political universe suddenly looks precarious as his approval ratings sink, economic anxiety grows and his war with Iran drags on without resolution.

For Democrats who once considered the Bush-era Republican Party the enemy, the contrast is almost surreal. The political battles of that era can seem downright quaint beside a president who calls himself a king, threatens a third term and has plunged America into a Middle Eastern war after campaigning against exactly that kind of foreign adventure.

Iran, Noonan argues, has exposed something particularly damaging about Trump. The swagger and certainty that have always been central to his appeal are giving way to something voters aren't accustomed to seeing.

“He’s uncertain,” Noonan writes. “He doesn’t look … competent.”

And the numbers increasingly support her diagnosis. Noonan points to Trump sitting at just 39 percent approval in the RealClearPolitics average, while an Economist poll puts him at a brutal 34 percent approval against 61 percent disapproval.

The cost of living, Trump's supposedly strongest issue, is also slipping away as a plus. Noonan cites polling showing Democrats now competitive with or even ahead of Republicans on the economy as Americans continue to worry about affordability and rising prices.

But her most revealing evidence may come from Trump himself. Before the Iran war began, Tucker Carlson reportedly tried to warn Trump against military action. Trump brushed him off.

“I know you’re worried about it, but it’s going to be OK,” Trump told Carlson, who asked him how he knew.

“Because it always is.”

That extraordinary answer gets to the heart of Noonan's argument. Trump has survived scandals, impeachments, criminal cases, political defeats and disasters that would have destroyed almost any other politician.

His extraordinary run of escapes appears to have convinced him that somehow things will always break his way. But presidents don't get to choose which crises they can simply outlast.

Noonan sees Iran, inflation, ICE, Epstein, tariffs and Ukraine beginning to accumulate in voters' minds, no longer as isolated controversies but as a rolling impression that things feel increasingly out of control.

And time itself is beginning to work against Trump. Everyone knows the post-Trump era is coming, Noonan observes, and as his remaining time in power shrinks, so does some of the fear and mystique that have surrounded him.

Coming from a Democrat, that assessment would hardly be surprising.

Coming from an old neo-con who once had a finger on the pulse of America, it feels like an obituary for the era of Trumpian invincibility.
