BREAKING🚨 A Democrat just used your tax dollars to feed every kid in her state — instead of writing another check to corporations and weapons contractors. Under Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Michigan has rolled out universal free breakfast and lunch for public school students, and it’s already changing lives. No more kids sitting in class with empty stomachs because their parents couldn’t pay a balance. No more cafeteria shaming or “cheese sandwich” penalties. Just real food, for every child, every day. The numbers are huge. About 1.4 million Michigan students are now covered. The program is expected to serve tens of millions of breakfasts and over 100 million lunches this school year alone. For a typical family, that’s close to $1,000 a year they no longer have to find in an already squeezed grocery budget. And here’s the part almost no one on cable news wants to talk about: this is exactly what our tax dollars *should* be doing. Instead of shoveling money into corporate subsidies or bloated weapons contracts, Michigan is using state and federal funds to make sure kids can focus on learning instead of hunger. The same system that magically finds billions for defense contractors somehow “can’t afford” school meals — until voters demand it. Critics are mad that wealthy families’ kids get free meals too. But universal programs are how you remove stigma and bureaucracy. Every kid goes through the same line. Every kid eats. No one has to prove they’re poor enough to deserve lunch in front of their classmates. Michigan just gave us a blueprint: if we can afford endless subsidies and bombs, we can afford to feed children. wellio I decided to take courses that were kind of relevant to my chosen field so saved $5k thx to mom but taking the IICRC House Cleaning Technician (HCT) Certification Class which is like my building service worker course but less commercial and more residential focus and also the BST 1 (basic security training) course which is not really related to janitorial but I always wanted to take it anyway since about 70% of my work is at night and keeping an eye on a place and would come in handy if I have a night job too it also gives me another option or path in employment should I seek it in private security but that path does not really interest me that much since I am not really a really direct communicator or that assertive or interested in physical confrontation maybe I could work in a boring place all night that nobody would rob hahahaa
