I DO not belong to a foodbank - my frozen meal program is PAY AS YOU GO while I may be a charity case at times I can say that even up to people making $60K a year in canada suffer through some sort of food insecurity and I am an upper chav working class type poverty & the sooner you recognize this the better for you so you can get help in social or native services but since my service delivers 8 meals a week for me and the same for my roomie we have been so blessed to have such good meals all the time I am talking luxe mac and cheese -butter chickens thing like lamb stew and stroganoff - it took me awhile to get to the point where I was finally able to donate to them on a regular basis and now I am moving from like $3-10 here and there to totally change my mindset and donate $40-$50 when I can this is the beauty of a pay as you go meal program when you are able to you can help support others who are struggling and when you as the one sperm hits it big in crypto u can give them $100k hahaha over my dead body will this charity go under -it took a long time to get to this point of food security and I am very very blessed its just so many are poverty minded and will take and take and never give anything money wise like these charities need money too on a daily basis you cant just take and take they will go under if you dont help them cut down the herb and cut down the booze and give them $10 here and there lol

Its a program that was launched unique to my hippy city at the onset of the pandemic to help people in food insecurity native LGBT people of colour and poverty it is really really awesome and its nice not eating bread and margarine all day
