How many administrators have been hired to "solve the homeless problem"? Do you think maybe those departments are incentivized to keep people on the street so they can hire more people and increase their funding? Victoria BC spends 140 million on the homeless every year. There are only 1750 homeless in the city. A staggering $80,000 per person. Every year. In Saskatoon there has been $32 million spent in the last 3 years on the homeless situation - so breaking that down to roughly 2000 people we have spent already $16,000 per person - how many of those 2000 have shelter and have gone through help such as medical assistance to determine who has mental issues, disabilities etc to determine what is the best way for them to move forward in their lives
