BREAKING: “WHERE ARE MY ICE CUBES?!” Trump’s ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle reportedly UNDER INVESTIGATION after DEMOTING a security agent who failed to bring her ice at 4 a.m. – as embassy staff describe her reign in Greece as “TYRANNICAL!” Donald Trump sent his former daughter-in-law-to-be Kimberly Guilfoyle to Greece as America's ambassador, and apparently the diplomatic assignment has turned into a Mediterranean nightmare of expensive champagne, furious tantrums, terrified employees, and now a reported State Department investigation. According to an explosive Daily Mail investigation, the State Department's Office of Inspector General is examining complaints about Guilfoyle's conduct, including allegations involving substance abuse, private jets and helicopters, improper gifts, and her relationship with a Greek energy and construction company. But the most jaw-dropping allegation involves a grandfather named Vasili, who worked on her security detail. “Guilfoyle was drinking at four in the morning, she called her security detail, Vasili, a grandfather, who was sleeping obviously, and did not respond,” a source told the Mail. “Next day, she demoted him.” Imagine yourself being responsible for protecting an American ambassador, only to discover that your career depends on delivering ice cubes to her cocktail glass in the middle of the night. And Vasili allegedly wasn't the only casualty. Two embassy drivers, Petros and Dimitris, were reportedly demoted as well – because Guilfoyle disliked the way they made a left turn. Sources also accused her of threatening employees with the charming diplomatic instruction, “F**king get it done or you're f**king fired!” Meanwhile, Guilfoyle has been photographed enjoying the party girl life on Mykonos, sipping champagne at an exclusive beach club. Her entourage reportedly demanded complimentary luxury champagne and tried to avoid paying a near- $1,800 restaurant bill, although she ultimately paid it. All of this comes just days after Guilfoyle was exposed in a separate controversy following a WSJ investigation into her alleged request that a wealthy Trump donor pay off her $100,000 American Express bill. The Journal reported that she urged him to wire the money directly to the card company, saying it wouldn't leave a paper trail. Guilfoyle has denied wrongdoing in connection with that report, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio has defended her performance. The IG investigation has not been publicly confirmed by the State Department. Democratic lawmakers have also demanded scrutiny of her dealings with a lobbyist for a Greek energy company who reportedly attended official diplomatic meetings. Greece is one of America's important NATO allies. Its embassy is supposed to advance American interests, not operate like the private luxury resort of a politically connected celebrity. And the people who serve there deserve considerably better than being threatened with dismissal over a wrong turn or allegedly punished for such shit as failing to deliver ice at four in the morning. Trump promised to send America's finest representatives abroad. If these allegations hold up, his ambassador to Greece seems to have mistaken diplomatic immunity for immunity from basic decency. Down with Trumpworld -- starting with every election in November. You just can’t convince us there is a decent one among them anywhere.
