My job is funny clean peoples houses as an executive housekeeper (cleaner) but like my company took on way too many clients haha so I find I have about 6 or so regulars that mostly book 5 weeks ahead they got a grant from the government to keep people in their homes and out of care so the clients get the service for free but my province is bankrupt like most places so the grants could expire in 2027 so it may slow down next year if they tighten the purse strings haha it has offered so much work but like their hiring is pretty complex not everyone gets in or can do this work for two hours its pretty hard work I can only do maybe one or two appts a day but yeah its so cool being an in demand housekeeper hahaha keeps me motivated there is always work available I see the odd one once but mostly like 5 or 6 people I really get to know well- I have had a few close calls making it to morning appts but either I speedwalk or catch a cab if I seriously mess up hahaha but can pretty much figure out the next days travelling pretty well but yeah just the toxic fumes from traffic and getting to appts all over the city is intense with busses so crowded and yeah anxiety inducing but I enjoy the work and they pay me like 7 $$ an hour over min wage so its a good income I want to do it while I go to school in the new year and maybe move onto something else in a few years after my studies but its a skill and career I can lean on all through my life thank god I thought there was nothing out there for me I just found memorizing thousands of things in a work or working in toxic places to be a bit unnerving so yeah kind of the middle ground hehe
