BREAKING: OFF THE DEEP END! Trump’s king cosplay escalates into full emperor fantasies with DERANGED North America map. We now have to admit that we were wrong about Donald Trump wanting to be a king. Judging from Trump’s latest intentionally provocative post on Truth Social, it’s apparent that what he really wants to be is an Emperor! Posting an image of the entire North American continent covered in an American flag — including Canada, Mexico, and all the countries of Central America and the Carribean, with Greenland and Iceland thrown in for good measure — Trump is making no secret of his imperial ambitions. This is not a map of countries that Trump wants to beneficently cover with the umbrella of U.S. defense protection. This is a map of proposed conquest, abandoning the long-standing dedication of the American government to democracy and the self determination of people everywhere for an implied new American Empire. This is the kind of map you’d find on the desks of Hitler’s generals before the launch of the blitzkriegs invading the sovereign nations on Germany’s borders at the start of World War II. Ironically, Trump posted this fever dream of a Greater United States at a time when America’s power has never been lower than at any time in the last century — with its weapons depleted by a reckless and foolish war with Iran, the US economy weakening daily because of the Orange Menace’s insane and illegal tariffs, and Trump’s poll numbers falling so low that they’ll win any limbo contest around. Trump’s media strategy seems to be to release one or more outrageous statements every day in order to sway attention away from his massive failures, including the Iran fiasco, the increasingly authoritarian police state being deployed in service to the domination of the oligarch class, a deteriorating economy battered by increasing inflation and widening gaps in income inequality, and his own MASSIVE corruption. Yes, Trump is deliberately trolling us with ever more outrageous posts, testing to see exactly where the breaking point is for the American electorate. Now it’s up to us — and to how we vote in the November midterms — to show the naked emperor that we reached that breaking point a long time age.
