Margaret Loughrey, a 48 year old Irish woman, won the EuroMillions jackpot back in 2014. She'd just come from an appointment at the Irish job center when she bought the winning ticket. At the time, she was living on just €70 a week. After winning the €34 million jackpot, she immediately said she wanted to use the money to help others, starting with her own family. She donated to various charities and committed to purchasing and restoring an old factory in her area, planning to transform it into a community center that would benefit the entire town. Margaret said she only wanted to keep around €1.25 million for herself and give away the rest. Not long after winning, she had already donated €17 million out of the remaining €33 million. "I know what it feels like to have nothing. I don't need all this money. Why would I miss millions I never had? I've never been wealthy, so I honestly don't know what that even feels like."
