I stayed up 22 days once in my rave days they say after ten u die lol. yes it was on drugs lol they were good bk then- -Oliver Alvis, a British train driver from Wiltshire, England, said he has been unable to sleep since one night in December 2023. At first, he believed it was just a stressful night, but the problem never went away. Days turned into weeks, then months, and he said he never felt sleepy again. Describing his condition to Mail Online, he said, "I don't just have a lack of sleep; it's the total disappearance of sleep. I don't feel sleepy. I don't fall asleep. I'm in a permanent state of alertness." After more than a week without sleep, Oliver quit his job as a train driver in January 2024 because he feared for passenger safety. He sold his home, moved back in with his mother, and spent his savings traveling to countries including Turkey, Colombia, India, and others across Europe in search of treatment. Doctors have been unable to explain his condition. One possible theory is a rare disorder called paradoxical insomnia, but Oliver believes it does not fit his experience. He continues searching for answers, saying he would give everything he owns just to sleep again.
