The Fourth Amendment protects people from unreasonable searches and seizures…. ICE agents don’t get to kidnap someone, from a coffee shop parking lot, without reasonable suspicion or probable cause. The Fifth Amendment guarantees due process…. Holding someone against their will while refusing to tell them why, or denying them access to contact anyone, is a constitutional violation

Income inequality isn’t an accident. It’s the result of this Liberal Governments choices….and…it’s time they make different ones. 1 year ago, the Canada Disability Benefit started. Although it was a win in 2022 when along with community organizations and disability advocates we forced the Liberal Government to launch the benefit, their promise to lift Persons Living With Disabilities out of poverty was just another broken promise. ❌ The amount of $200 a month is a slap in the face and won’t even buy groceries for a month. ❌ The benefit is very difficult to apply for and is still hidden behind the Disability Tax Credit, adding barriers that make it inaccessible to many who need it most. ❌ The benefit is still not protected from clawbacks, and in provinces like Alberta, any amount is immediately clawed back. This is wrong and continues to push people down. 🆘 Enough is enough. It’s time to fix the inequality that exists, where people continue to fall further behind while this Liberal Government continues to enrich giant corporations. It’s sad that there’s not one person left in parliament that will make a speech for the disabled anymore. Canada has truly moved on, they seem genuinely OK with social murder. The world is too busy to worry about human rights. The bystander apathy and anger towards disabled is a direct consequence of our current leaders. Sad that Canada has forgotten its promise, vilified its most vulnerable and allowed our society to chose lack of empathy as the ‘normal’. I’m pretty sure this will be reconciliation issue decades in the future. History remembers. But for the time being, Canada is OK with disabled taking the brunt of poverty, dying in large numbers, and marginalized directed social anger. It’s hard to care about the little guy when you’re struggling, and what better example to evaluate your own life and worth against a marginalized population that the government has directly created for that targeted purpose. There is no dignity in a disabled life

The prime Minister makes over $500 Canadian dollars a day because he can work- but also a gold plated parliamentary pension and expects someone that is disabled to live on  what he makes in an afternoon or morning in one single day for a whole month we are living in bonkersville but hey you can get culled soon here if you don't agree with how they are doing things - The oil sands alone and mineral wealth should have been paying each canadian dividends for life and at least a basic income so something went seriously wrong with a few places in canada raping the earth of indigenous resources and giving it all to their freemason friends
