Trump’s unqualified "nepo baby" spy chief just started firing hundreds of people who track terror plots in real time — and experts warn it raises the risk of a new attack. The unqualified loyalist Trump installed to run America's intelligence community is already living up to every nightmare scenario — and even Republicans are sounding the alarm. Bill Pulte — who has ZERO intelligence experience and didn't even have a security clearance before getting the job — started Friday and immediately began firing HUNDREDS of intelligence professionals. And the most alarming part: many of the firings are concentrated in the National Counterterrorism Center, the very nerve center where CIA, FBI, and ODNI personnel watch terror plots unfold in real time. Jim Himes, top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, didn't mince words: "If he just starts willy-nilly firing people, it is going to increase the probability that there is a terrorist attack inside the United States." Larry Pfeiffer, a former CIA chief of staff, was even blunter: "Having some nepo baby real estate guy come in and just willy-nilly make decisions that appear to have no basis in fact seems like a very careless, reckless thing to do." Senate Intelligence Vice Chair Mark Warner called Pulte a "national security threat" — pointing out that Pulte asked to take the President's Daily Brief, the nation's MOST classified intelligence, home to an unsecured location, which is AGAINST THE LAW. "This character didn't even know that, and he's in charge of our intelligence agencies." What WAS Pulte worried about? Getting a private government jet to shuttle between Chicago, Florida, and DC. And this isn't just Democrats who are outraged by Pulte. Republican Sen. Thom Tillis called Pulte an "incompetent sycophant and not the right person to lead DNI" and predicted his tenure would be "another hot, steaming pile of DOGE shit." Remember how Pulte got Trump's favor in the first place: he used his housing finance job to make criminal referrals against Trump's political enemies — including Adam Schiff — raising serious questions about how he accessed their private data. Warner has now introduced legislation to block future unqualified loyalists from running the spy agencies. "The intelligence community should be led by experienced, Senate-confirmed professionals — not by whoever happens to be most willing to carry out the president's whims and vendettas." Anti-ICE protestors in Texas get sentenced to FIFTY YEARS IN PRISON by a Trump-appointed judge in an outrageous North Korean-style kangaroo court to punish free speech! This should terrify every one of us… A group of nine protestors were convicted of bullshit terrorism charges from a Fourth of July protest at an immigrant detention facility in Alvarado, Texas, south of Fort Worth. The protestors had fireworks to set off in solidarity with those poor individuals detained inside. Police arrived and immediately escalated the situation, leading to the slashing of tires of ICE vehicles, and breaking a security camera. One protestor fired a shot at one of the guards, hitting him in the arm, in order to stop him from shooting one of the protesters. Benjamin Song, the shooter, received 100 years in prison. His fellow protesters Zachary Evetts, Autumn Hill, Savanna Batten, Elizabeth Soto and Meagan Morris were sentenced to 50 years in prison. Maricela Rueda, another demonstrator, was sentenced to 70 years in prison. In comparison, the leader of the Proud Boys received 22 years in prison for attacking the Capitol on January 6th. All six were convicted of riot, providing material support to terrorists, and explosive charges. Three of the defendants weren’t involved in the planning and left after the guards told them to; one of them WASN’T EVEN THERE but got 30 years in prison for “moving leftwing zines.” The judge stacked the charges together and gave outrageously long sentences to the protesters, who were smeared as “antifa.” As if you needed any more proof, the Trump-appointed judge said explicitly said he was handing down maximum sentences to "send a message" to anyone else who shares this ideology of caring for other people and exercising their rights to protest. The protesters plan to appeal their insane sentences. The implications of this are DEEPLY disturbing. “If you’ve ever worn black to a protest, used Signal, or carried a first aid kit, a federal jury just decided that can all be evidence of terrorism,” writes organizer Hannah Riley Fernandez on Twitter. With Trump judges installed across the country, Trump and his goons are clearly ready to hand down massive sentences in kangaroo courts in order to brutally punish anyone who dares to protest his appalling persecution of immigrants.
