BREAKING: Catholic convert JD Vance tells the Pope to stick to “matters of morality” as if Trump’s war, the bombing of schoolgirls, and threats to sources of power and clean water aren’t moral issues! In an absolutely jaw-dropping interview with Bret Baier, Vice President JD Vance tried to downplay the very public feud between President Trump and Pope Leo XIV by saying: “I think in some cases it would be best for the Vatican to stick to matters of morality… and let the president of the United States stick to dictating American public policy.” He then brushed off the whole thing as “not that big of a deal” and “not particularly newsworthy.” The Vice President of the United States, who identified as an atheist before converting to Catholicism at age 35, is lecturing the Pope – the Vicar of Christ and moral leader of over a billion Catholics across the world – to stay out of discussions about war and threats of existential annihilation of one of the world’s most ancient civilizations. It goes without saying that the Pope has every right to speak out against immoral wars and threats to innocent lives. Trump and Vance do not get to lecture the leader of one of the world’s great religions while they foment death and chaos far abroad from the land they govern. This administration has lost the plot, and Vance has a lot to confess and should be quaking in his boots about his status in his new-found faith. Not particularly newsworthy! What world is this man living in? To paraphrase Chandler Bing, can he be any more arrogant?
