I know i should have given my notice and resigned the proper way at the church but resigning all of a sudden and taking my leave allowed me to properly come out with allegations of misconduct without having the usual working reference being in question I kind of recognize that I may have slowed myself down by about 6 months by doing it all impulsively etc but I did not have a lot of real world work experience so therefore did not have any knowledge about how to deal with a situation like the one I went through there
