BREAKING: Trump’s ICE goons shot an American citizen in the BACK for trying to protect kids at a bus stop! It’s the latest shocking display of wanton violence from Trump’s goons and the second time ICE has shot someone in a week. Carlos Jimenez was on his way to work at a food bank when he saw ICE agents harassing some innocent people. He pulled over to let them know there was a bus stop where kids would soon be congregating and that they needed to move their trucks. “He was telling them, ‘Excuse me. Can you guys please, you know, please wrap this up.’ And immediately, the masked agent pulls out a gun and exchanges some words,” said his lawyer, Cynthia Santiago. “[The agent is] also shaking his pepper spray.” This, understandably, freaks out Jimenez, who gets back in his car and reverses to get away. So the thugs shot him in the back shoulder. “Then there was a shot from the side, back passenger window, to the car,” Santiago said. “Use of deadly force is to be used as a last resort. Coming out to communities with guns drawn is the opposite.” DHS claimed that Jimenez attempted to “run the officers over” and charged him with felony assault, adding insult to very painful injury. This cannot be taken seriously, as ICE is notorious for simply making up crimes against the victims of their abuse. “Our communities are not training grounds, they are places where children and families should be safe and able to go about their day,” said Santiago. “What we are seeing in communities such as [the Inland Empire], L.A. and Ventura is as if they are training grounds, where violence and aggression is being used against community members with or without status.” Carlitos Ricardo Parias was also shot by ICE agents this week after they boxed in his car. It is absolutely unacceptable that these goons feel its permissible to shoot American citizens whenever they want with no accountability or punishment. If Republicans ever want to stop protecting Epstein’s accomplices, they should re-open the government and immediately pass legislation restricting ICE’s use of firearms before they shoot any more people.
