The overall rating is a paltry 2.8 stars and many reviews complain about delayed delivery, non-delivery, and a refusal to honor requests for refunds. Trump has been aggressively selling the watches on cable TV — a characteristically tone deaf move on his part considering the ongoing government shutdown and the fact that many Americans are struggling to afford groceries as a result of his tariffs. It's worth noting that Trump himself is not known for wearing watches, underscoring just how much this endeavor is an effort to milk even more money out of his supporters. “My daughters ordered a Trump watch and after 5 months of waiting have not received anything. It’s a shame this company is not holding to President Trump’s high standards. This was a present for my 80th birthday!” wrote one Trump supporter on the website.
