⚔️ Inside a Baroque church in Rome, Judith still holds the head of her enemy. This marble statue in the Chiesa di Sant’Ignazio di Loyola depicts Judith holding the severed head of Holofernes. According to the Book of Judith, she saved her city by seducing and then beheading the Assyrian general as he slept, proving that faith and courage can overthrow even the most powerful tyrants.
