BREAKING: Donald Trump gets crushing news as a federal judge orders depositions from several administration officials over the White House's failure to take the court-ordered steps to facilitate the return of the innocent Kilmar Abrego Garcia. This scandal just went supernova... "What the record shows is that nothing has been done. Nothing. I asked for reports from individuals with direct knowledge and I’ve gotten very little information of any value," said U.S. District Court Judge Paula Xinis, adding that she gave "a very simple directive" for the government to update her on steps taken. She stated that she is not yet holding the government in contempt of court but floated the idea of taking that drastic step if the issue is not properly addressed soon. For now, she has ordered the Trump administration to furnish documents and responses to interrogatories. Better still, she has ordered that four MAGA officials who signed affidavits in the case must sit for depositions no later than April 23rd. This move will allow Abrego Garcia’s attorneys to grill Trump immigration officials, exposing them in the process and likely inflicting a major black eye on this habitually dishonest White House. Drew Ensign, an attorney for the Trump administration, suggested that they may attempt to prevent at least one of the depositions and that they are working to appeal Xinis's order because "we don't believe discovery is appropriate." "You lost. This is now about the scope of the remedy,” Xinis shot back, stating that there is nothing left to appeal at this point. The hearing centered around the Trump administration's failure to comply with a Supreme Court ruling that they "facilitate" the return of Abrego Garcia. It bears mentioning that the administration has already admitted in court that Abrego Garcia was accidentally deported due to an "administrative error." Ensign tried to argue that the judge should employ a narrow definition of the word "facilitate" and said that the administration would help Abrego return "if he appears at a port of entry or U.S. embassy we will facilitate his return." Since El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele has already falsely smeared Abrego Garcia as a "terrorist" and stated that he will not release him from prison, he has no way of reaching a port of entry. Judge Xinis said that Ensign's argument "flies in the face of the plain meaning of the word.” "The bottom line is it was a very simple directive. My question, that the high court squarely affirmed I can ask, is what have you done?" she said. "I’ve gotten nothing. I’ve gotten no real response, nor have I gotten any legitimate reason." "We’re going to move. There will be no tolerance for gamesmanship and grandstanding," she added. "There are no business hours while we do this – there are going to be two intense weeks of discovery," she stated later. "Cancel vacation, cancel other appointments. I’m usually pretty good about that in my courtroom, but not this time. It won’t be a convenience issue," she added. Clearly, Judge Xinis will not rest until Abrego Garcia is returned home to his family. God bless her. Please like and share! ——BREAKING: Democratic lawmakers drop a bombshell on Donald Trump by announcing bold plans to fly to El Salvador to fight for the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia — destroying the MAGA hope that this scandal would fade away. And it gets even better... Senator Chris Van Hollen has sent a letter to El Salvador's ambassador to the United States requesting a meeting with far-right President Nayib Bukele. In a related statement, Van Hollen announced that if Abrego Garcia is not returned to the United States by "midweek" he will "travel to El Salvador this week to check on his condition and discuss his release." Other Democrats quickly jumped on board to voice support for Van Hollen's plan and vowed to accompany him on the humanitarian trip. "We must all stand as a united front against the kidnapping and illegal detention of Kilmar Abrego Garcia in El Salvador," Representative Maxwell wrote on X. "Senator, I am willing to join you and help Organize other members of the House to do the same." Representative Yassamin Ansari shared Frost's post and added that she is "ready to join" the delegation. This is exactly what Democrats should be doing right now. The Trump administration deported an innocent man to a brutal prison in El Salvador and is now defying a Supreme Court order to "facilitate" his return. The administration has already admitted in court that Abrego Garcia should have never been removed from the country and blamed it on an "administrative error." An immigration judge ruled back in 2019 that he could not be deported back to El Salvador because a gang in his native country was "targeting him and threatening him with death because of his family’s pupusa business." The fascist President Bukele has remained lockstep with Trump and claims that it's "preposterous" to suggest that he should return Abrego Garcia, while smearing the innocent man as a "terrorist." Senator Van Hollen has stated that he believes that Bukele "will reconsider when he understands the full story of this illegal detention." "I don’t think he wants to essentially be the president who’s kidnapped the United States citizen," the senator added. If Abrego Garcia is not returned soon, Van Hollen will travel to El Salvador to "seek a meeting with the president or other government officials, because it is, it is absolutely unjust and illegal to have this Marylander detained one more day in a notorious prison in El Salvador." ——-BREAKING: Senator Chris Van Hollen incinerates Donald Trump and his El Salvadoran dictator pal for refusing to return the innocent Maryland father who was deported to a mega prison — and then predicts disaster for them. No American can afford to ignore this warning... "I think that the situation for both the Trump administration and the President of El Salvador is unsustainable because the Supreme Court, as you reported, by 9-0 has said that the Trump administration has to facilitate his return," said Van Hollen on CNN. "And you have the President of El Salvador saying 'well I don't have the power to release him.' Both things are untrue," he added. "The president could of course facilitate his return after all the United States is paying El Salvador money for this prison. And of course the President of El Salvador could release him." Yesterday, Trump met with El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele in the Oval Office. When asked about the illegal deportation of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, Bukele smeared him as a "terrorist" and vowed to keep him in prison. This represents the most grave scenario imaginable, in which two fascist leaders are united in stripping people of their rights, brutalizing them, and then whitewashing their own actions. "So at some point, I think, this becomes unsustainable. People are going to keep calling for his release because the Trump administration itself has admitted he was wrongfully whisked out of the country," said Senator Van Hollen. "And we have a 9-nothing decision from the Supreme Court." The Trump administration did in fact previously admit in court that Abrego Garcia should not have been removed from the United States and blamed it on an "administrative error." An immigration judge ruled back in 2019 that he could not be deported back to El Salvador because a gang in his native country was "targeting him and threatening him with death because of his family’s pupusa business." "What do you say to someone from — I'm picking a random place, Idaho — why should we, the collective we, care about this one case?" asked CNN's Kate Bolduan. "Well, we should care about this case because of due process. Every American citizen is due their due process and people who are in the United States under legal protective status like Abrego Garcia was, are entitled to due process," said Van Hollen. "So if the president gets to shred the Constitution and ignore the Supreme Court in this case, it is a very short path to the president ignoring court orders in other cases," he explained. "So every American should care about this."
