seems a bit strange after the fall of rome - and in literally founding the constitution that they would have NO actual safeguards in place to keep a tyrannical and psychopathic ruler in check over hundreds of millions of people and souls? seems a bit strange? because we are one of 100,000 of the exact same self similar dimensions currently happening-like ok one crankpot gets in and you are all fucked? seems a bit strange to tell this to people that we give total and absolute power to one singular man ? like I mean technically there is the whole hitler thing?

like in my country we have a human rights charter of rights and freedoms so this will never happen here

we also have a lot of safeguards as well but we found out a lot of this does not apply it only took stephen harper two terms to completely change the entire country
