I have not really figured out that with 95% of "official calls" to like banks and governments even non profits and customer lines they always tell you you are being recorded for satisfaction and training purposes I mean do you have to parrot this shit on the customer line returning some pickles? like wtf? are they used to getting a lot of really strange sexual people (perverts) or violent people that swear and yell at them ? or are they signalling that you are technically like under oath for the entire call like I don't get it like what is the purpose of recording everything and what exactly are they getting at when they remind you on every single call you are being recorded I get that it is a "legal requirement" to their scripted call but its like all breaking each of us down psychologically when you hear this all the time like an authoritarian telling you that YOU ARE BEING RECORDED SAY ANYTHING OUT OF LINE AND WE WILL ARREST YOU lmao
