They are fearful of the air in dimensions known as countries to go from fuel and oil/cigarettes to marijuana smoke they will do anything in their power (the auto/tobacco gods) to stop this from happening its kind of tough to explain but sorta like if all the air in canada is from automobiles it gives a certain god certain magical powers over reality its their signature you change all the "air" to marijuana it actually heals the great mother and allows her to make more sound decisions without the noxious gasses of autos and cigarettes bogging her down this is why the world felt different in like 1986 it was actually in the domain of different beings and gods
