they seem to be nudging a lot of underperforming economies onto the disaster model so you can hedge this by getting out of mainstream investments and into physical gold or a library of 5000 books for example that you can make your own pay to read library I was faced with an issue so USA wants to invade canada and already invading like 4 other countries so if I had a bunch of cash in canada digital or otherwise it makes canada dollars useless what is the best way to hedge against this well have a ton of silver or gold on hand or even invest in luxe proteins

stock up on lotsa weed and stuff you can make food with 

have at least a months rent in silver or gold then 3 months then more if you can

dont off yourself when it becomes unbearable figure a way out of it even you have to work 9-5

or if you cannot escape investing or annuities and you live in BC for example make sure you do your research as to if RBC for example operates in both countries and would easily support your folio if all this should happen but my take on it is unless you can hold onto it it really isnt there like if you just buy stocks they dont exist if you buy crypto they may or may not exist but an ounce of silver you can hold and trade for a months rent lol or some chocolate they can take over canada in two days and an afternoon btw where would we all go ? russia china? 10x worse
